July 16 99 1230 PM After the show we drove 12 hours here to Minneapolis. Got the family on the plane for home at 130 PM· crashed for 2 hours,then meet randy at the pickled parrot for some ribs.we took a taxi to the punk rock district (( as punk as the mid west gets hahaha)) an randy got the biggest hunks of silver jabbed into his ears·damn..it looks cool. Then mark(( he was the guitar player in fight)) meet us there·hes sooo cool·.we all came back to the damn hotel at 1100 pm.i called donna an told her the guys were going out.she said I should go.i told her ill just set up my studio an work. ***now,my wife is cool.***.check this out>>>>>·she said>>why donât you take a night off·an go with the guys to a strip club >>>>>boooom··so i did..hahahhahaha·came back at 130 am·me mark an randy started working on music till 330 am··now life is grand isnât it·??? Travel,children,shopping,piercings,friends,naked woman,hotel rock n roll·and the best woman on earth·..

July 18 99 230 PM After the show we drove 6 hours here to Chicago. Got into the hotel at 630 am. but the hotel sold all our rooms··so all hell breaks loose.(how motley haha) i sit on the floor with the guys an crack jokes an drink cheap hotel lobby coffee with chemical powder dry milk. Ahhhhhhhhhh good morning Mr. sixx says the manager· (please donât call me Mr. unless im going to court).·..so after an hour or so we all got settled into our rooms. but I had to throw all my furniture out in the hallway to make room for my studio.its cool·im a professional traveler..you learn to deal with this kinda stuff·.i surfed the channels an decided to put on porn an fall asleep. When I Woke up, I had this song in my head..called **dented halos**,so its on it way to being song number 5 for the next studio record.ive surrounded my self in old records.the oneâs I grew up on.old stones,aerosmith,ac/dc,queen,kiss,cheap trick,bowie,slade,mott the hoople, sabbath, nugent·etc·etc·.im on a anti loop..anti new binge.its all in how fresh it feels to me··..im fat boy slimmed out·((all those bands)).i will admit to falling head over heals in love with it for a couple years.but it just doesnât seem to have the staying power for me(( thatâs just me..i still indorse it))..I miss rock n roll·nasty sexy rock n roll·so I will reinvent it for my self·its in my blood right now·.. July 19,99 1132 am
After the show we stayed in Chicago. My studio had to leave with the luggage for Denver. We stay here tonight after the alpine show as well. So With no music in my room an my veins pumped up with adrenaline from the concert,I just had to get out out of my room,I went down to the whisky bar in the hotel with randy for awhile. But there were too many yuppies.it made me feel sick and greasy. When i look at their dockers nice new-pressed shirts an tight lil hair cuts, all I see are future Jeffery dalmiers and john wayne gacyâs. of course there lookin like im from the circus,but then I guess I am.we couldnât take it so randy went to some other clubs and I hide from the serial killers in my room.i thought the show was cookin last night. In Detroit we had some tech probs,so it was all good last night.energy was up,crowd was crazy and of course the Chicago police were back stage before the show··tellin us what**not** to do. .
there was a tattoo artist backstage lastnight.he tattooed josie((one of our dancers)) and athena(( tommys sister an wife of james kotack of the scrops)).hes going to randys
room in awhile·im gonna pop up an maybe get something.shuan from the website is coming over to my room any minute··hes got some new programs for me.it was great seeing him.hes been one of the few people ive meet in life who stays solid.. there not a lot of them out there·.

ive been home for a few days.it's soo amazing to sleep in my your own bed,but for me and donna it was a bit wierd cause you also get so used to sleeping alone that it kinda throws a wrench into your sleep habits.but damn,when you wake up in the middle of the night and there is this hot blonde laying next to you..its all good.boom...
*** last nights show ( bakersfield ) started off amazin,then like with alot of these redneck crowds it sometimes gets really really rowdy.now thats very motley.infact its part of what were about. release.you know,primal scream and all that.but when the building doesnt do a proper search of the audiene when they come thru the door....theres
always morons who bring stupid shit in..hence..last night... so as usual lil things are flying on stage....a bra...panties....t shirts...etc.....but then....bang.....vince get hit right in the throat with a bottle.now why would someone do that???of course... the show was over..but not because we were so pissed as....poor vinnie couldnt even talk..had to get
the paramedics back there and they said it didnt look too good.we might have to cancel tonights show......thats the shit that pisses us off.... sometimes people just dont use there heads... one idiot fucked it up for everybody lastnight.....if you ever see this kinda shit going down..go get some security..if if not for the band your watching...for you....it sucks when you loose your show because of one dumbasses like this... on with the show>>( maybe)<<......

Traveled 12 hours from Fresno. But a combo of shitty radio,a shitty crowd, the band in a shitty mood and a shitty sound on stage made for a shitty night for us.we were still cranky from the night before.were like rattlesnakes,if one of us gets wound up we all get pissed off .its life in the gang.mess with one….mess with us all….so we were in a fighting mood….

I haven't had a day off in a month.everyday off ,Ive worked. so, today I went to the pool with vince and Rudolph,james and randy…..hawks boy(( Chris )) is out on the road with us.i call him hoopty(nickname)….i got hoopty a knife at the gift shop and told him what tampons are for…hawks wants to kill me…….
Salt lake has the best fuckin suishi resturaaunt here,so were gonna all go out and eat.im sure it wont end there though…….seems the boys are restless from the mundane life of hotel to hotel.when you've been touring for almost a year like us,you start to get ratty around the edges.its almost like your high and insane all at the sametime all the time.you come down only when you crash,then wake up and do it again.….i must say..im fuckin sick of being away from home.i miss donna and the kids too much.were done sept7 in
america..then a few weeks off and off to japan.im takin donna with me for some S S an R & R.were also gonna launch our outlaw clothing line in japan then.so then the tour is done and the work begins … we take two weeks off andgo straight into motley reh for the next record.im hoping my compound is finished enuff for us to atleast reh there..they can finish the rest of the studio and living quarters over the holidays….we will see(im praying))…..our dream is to record the album right there on the ranch……. rock n roll

You know what bothers me? The fact that everyday the crue fans dog Tommyso hard to us. The other night in Idaho the crowd was chanting** fuck Tommy lee**.and night after night there are the meanest signs in the crowd. Outside the hotel today some kids were wearing these homemade t-shirts that said stupid shit about his ol lady too…. Why do the fans fell the need to turn on him so hard? Do they feel he sold them out?
I just don't get it….it really makes me sad. Played salt Lake City last night. What a fuckin insane crowd. Salt lake has to be one of the wildest crowds in America. I think its the fact that the city is over run with conservatives and mormons, so the kids just need to rebel, and isn't that part of what rock n roll is all about? The law was so uptight that they issued warrants for our arrest even before we played.if we messed up one little bit, we were all going to jail for 14 days without bail. Now, im a lil punk at heart, but when your wife is naked in Vegas waiting for you, you rethink your position.... So I was a good dog...kinda.... hahahha
Donna and me are together for the next week..yeeehaaaa

Greg James from sunset strip tattoo has done 90% of motleys tattoo work. we flew him out here for a little vacation/tattooing session.he tattooed a huge skull with lighting bolts on mars, a huge skull an shooting stars on vinnie and Japanese water splashes and a massive water Lilly on the inside of my leg.my lower right leg is almost sleeved.he did this amazing sun( like my backpiece) on donnas arm and a cross on her back a few weeks ago at our house.greg goes home tomorrow afternoon.hes one of those guys who you just have to like. hes a great guy and hes one of the best tattoo artist ive ever seen and is completely down to earth as well.i think hes had a blast watching the rock n roll animal come screaming out of the cage everynight. you never know with motley if theirs gonna be a riot or the shows gonna get stopped or its gonna be smooth as silk..100%or 0%. Were either one of the greatest rock n roll bands or we just plain suck.and we never know, night after night… For us it's a crap roll…ive heard the same about the rolling stones too.there either on or off… that's what Ilove about live music.it comes from inside.if the band is pissed sometimes we play hard an fuckin rip,or sometimes we don't even make it through a set because its gets too insane…you never know in rock n roll

Three more weeks of touring in america.i can proudly say the band has gotten our music back into the bloodline.weve gotten all our albums out now under our own label, a greatest hits to entice the new generation of rock n roll fans and a much requested live album coming in nov.what were trying to do with the live album ((if time permits)) is make it a double live for the price of a single album.something most majors would never do…it takes some creative work on our part at the labal with mixers, studios, the cost of jewel boxes, art etc. etc.the band is very adamant about putting this out in Nov.(((not a great time to release a record)) and not going to radio or promoting to hard.** this album is for the diehard only**were more focused on the next studio album right now.the energy of the band is so positive right now.our roots are showing hard.mars and myself are on a songwriting roll.we start reh Nov. 14 on the ranch..its all I can think bout…. **the new album***….but until then..we have more live shows in america and japan. Live albums don't really sell that well ((unless were talkin the 70's, peter frampton an kiss)) ….so its almost a pain in the ass to put this out,but…you asked for it…your gonna get it….

i just woke up.
got in a 1100 am. we drove 11 hours on the
bus.when we got in town me and kevin (my bass
tech and friend) went to the gibson factory. they
gave us a tour of the custom shop factory.
they've been putting the final coats of top coat on
one of my thunderbirds that Kevin covered in
pictures from porno mags..its now been dubbed
the porno bass.they had to spray it at night cause
the woman there would of busted a tit if they saw
it in the shop.it was there undercover after hours
project ((haha)),they said it was the funniest thing
theyve done in years...
we finalized the plans for the
nikki sixx blackbird bass.as you can
tell by the name it only comes in
black(flat-black).it has a black case
inside an out,the pickups are wired to
my specs as well as a "optigrab" for
your pinkie to help hold onto the bass
with and only a toggle switch,its
either on or off..nothing else
needed.it has iron crosses inlayed in
sterling silver up the neck. it will
come with some goodies too.pictures
with the hang tags,history of the t
bird,my custom picks, motley bass
tabs etc... the custom shop ones i
will sign as well (limited).some of you
might have seen it at our shows this
summer.ive been playing the
prototype. it sounds massive,im really
really happy to have been involved in
this.its an honour. but they had to
take it back to copy the specs,ill get
it back in 7 days (pout).
when i got back i passed out.now im awake.damn
my sleep patterns are warped.donna and all the
kids fly to atlanta tomorrow night. they can all
get settled into the hotel and ill be in at about 6
am. looking forward to seeing those lil rats.maybe
i can get them to come on-stage an sing shout at
the devil.

visit before the kids go back to school.9 more
shows and I'm home.The kids are really over
me being gone.You can only imagine, they just

the police try to arrest me.im sooo over it.in
Atlanta I asked ((nicely>>i swear)) the security
guy in front of me to stop flashing his flashlight
in the fans faces everytime they put there hands

finger.so I say no fuck you... and take off my
bass an poke it at him.you know.((like get the
hell outta here.))ok.he leaves.no biggie....
Show goes on, I go on the bus,my kids are
hangin all over me,an here comes hawk an says
i need to go meet with the police.

road.Ive always believed
in writing down your
feelings.You don't have
to be a songwriter or
poet to express yourself
in written word. I guess
at times i share with our
fans too much truth,but
thats always been one of
my dreams,to break down
the walls between band an
fan.
I've received some
e-mails recently about
posts from aol.The posts
were responses about my
entries and my
feelings(in this
diary)..It amazes me how
some people twisted love
into hate.How can
something painted with
truth and passion an love
be twisted into such an
ugly way?

( my fav bass amps on earth) factory for a tour.
We had a great time, i got to
meet all the workers an
designers an oldtimers.

svt-sixx* bass rig.
I cant believe it..First Gibson
"BLACKBIRD" now the
ampeg svt-sixx. damn...i guess
you would have to be a player
to understand how exciting this
is for a musican. Check it out;
ive played ampegs for 25
years...since i was a kid. So to
be involved in my own series is
a high i cant explain. The idea
is to build the "amp head" is to
my specs. It will be priced so
players can get it.I told them i
don't care about the profit,i care
about players being able to get
the equip and make music with
it.....
What a year..A GREAT

Motley Crue Bassist Sixx Arrested

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina
lawmen waited nearly two years for Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx to return to the state.
When he did, they arrested him.
Sixx was nabbed Friday night at a show in
Raleigh on charges of inciting a riot at a
Greensboro concert in October 1997. Warrants
were never served because of the cost of
extradition, Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes
said.
During the 1997 concert, Sixx allegedly
directed racial slurs at a guard and encouraged
the crowd of 2,500 to attack the guard.
The guards also said Sixx and drummer Tommy
Lee poured a drink onto the guard's head.
Sixx was charged with felony rioting and
misdemeanors of inciting a riot, simple assault
and disorderly conduct. He posted $7,500 bond
early Saturday.
Lee, who is wanted on the same misdemeanor
charges as Sixx, was not arrested because he
didn't perform at the show in Raleigh. Barnes
said he hopes to arrest Lee the next time he
comes to North Carolina.
The guard and his employer filed a lawsuit
against Sixx and Lee last year.

n roll back to the masses. Its an amazing feeling
right now to know we did it when so many said
we couldn't.
I'm so damn excited about going home I

came up to me after the show an I'm so drained
I probably seemed stoned to them. I just don't
have anymore to give. I gave 100% of my
energy away. I'm vacant right now.

left for the office at 7:30 am.got there at
9:00am.traffic is hell in l.a. at that hour but i
wanted to get a start on kicking ass today.i got
the **1958** album all mastered an in my
hands.its so different than anything out there.the
first single is a song called**piece of
candy**.im thinking about holding it till Jan
for release,but we haven't decided for sure
yet..the album is called**diet for a new
america**me and David darling are adding
some guys to the band.we will of decided who
they are in a few days,then we'll do a photo
shoot an finish the album cover .IM really
proud of the music.im even more proud that's
its just us being us.its real music from real
artists.it's experamental.its not preconceived or
a attempt to cash in on something that's hip or
trendy.....Its us taking our songwriting roots
into new territory without regard for the
outcome.the success of this project has already
been reached,because we did what we said we
would.we didn't sell out just to sell
records.there is no band out there that sounds
like 1958...thats something to stand tall an be
proud of.
im looking forward to your thoughts when its
out.now,ill sneak some goodies out for ya in

made so many contacts. we have a great team
((skateboarders)) and some big pros wanna go
outlaw with us. were developing a woman's
line too.we have a new website coming.the old
one is still up,but thats our old cloths...were
doing pants,shirts,flip flops etc....and jewelry is
right around the corner..the kids in japan are
really gettin into outlaw...

Nikki Sixx Won't Be Prosecuted

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx won't be prosecuted for allegedly making crowd-riling remarks during an August concert.
Sixx was arrested after the group's Aug. 11
show at Mandalay Bay, and charged with
provoking a breach of the peace - a
misdemeanor.
Before the show, police had warned band
members not to make any statements that could
provoke crowd violence. Authorities stopped a
1997 Motley Crue show at the Aladdin Theatre
here briefly when a short riot broke out,
injuring four people.
A videotape of the recent concert reviewed by
prosecutors showed Sixx telling the
8,000-member crowd: "Every time we come to
town, the (expletive) cops tell us we can't be
Motley Crue. If they don't like it, we can start
flipping over cop cars like we did a couple of
years ago."
District Attorney Stewart Bell said Tuesday
that while Sixx's statement may have been
offensive to some, it was protected by the First
Amendment.

Criminal charges have been dropped against Motley Crue bass player Nikki
Sixx and two of three stage crew members involved in a confrontation
with police after a Mandalay Bay concert.
A carefully worded news release signed by District Attorney Stewart Bell
and Sheriff Jerry Keller admitted that arresting officers erred by
misinterpreting Sixx's reminders of violence during a 1997 concert as an
attempt to urge new violence.
The statements, Bell and Keller conceded, were protected free speech
despite being "offensive" and do not support criminal charges.
The decision came after Bell and the rock band's attorney, Michael
Amador, went through a videotape of the concert provided by the Mandalay
Bay to determine exactly what was said.
That was something the officers at the scene did not have the opportunity
to do before deciding to arrest the rock star.
On the tape Sixx urges security guards in expletive-laced language to be
lenient in dealing with the young concert-goers.
"You gotta do me a favor and let these (people) have a good time, all
right?" Sixx tells the guards.
"A little bit of (vulgar term for breast) and their hands in the air
ain't gonna hurt anybody," Sixx states to the guards before getting to
the issue that resulted in his arrest.
He then says, "But if you don't want to listen to me, I think you
remember the time the kids turned the cop cars upside down. We can make
that happen, right? So why don't we all have a little bit of fun here."
Those words, Bell concluded, did not constitute a legally required "call
to action" to justify the misdemeanor charges.
The news release states that despite the ultimate decision to dismiss
charges, "the actions of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were
based on perceived threats to public safety, given the totality of the
environment, and the decision to arrest is not faulted."
Amador emphasized Sixx's words did not provoke any violent outbursts. The
most physical reaction, he said, was that people stomped their feet on
the floor "which is done at any UNLV basketball game."
Sixx wasn't arrested until after the concert.
Although the criminal charges were dropped, Sixx's court days in Nevada
may not be over because he could still file a civil lawsuit.
Amador said the arrest cost Sixx a contract with a video game company and
he had to pay legal costs to fight the criminal charges.
"Those are actionable, but that decision is for Sixx, his management and
his California attorneys," the veteran Las Vegas lawyer said. "I don't sue
cops. I get cases dismissed."
Amador said there is a chance, because of the quick decision to drop
charges, that Sixx can regain the video game contract.
Misdemeanor charges also have been dropped against two of the band's crew
members-Christopher Reynolds and Geoff Perren-who verbally
interfered in the arrest.
But the criminal case is proceeding against a third crew member, John
Gabrielli, who was charged with a gross misdemeanor count of battery on a
police officer for allegedly shoving a Metro officer.
Amador said "negotiations are pending" to resolve that case, which is scheduled for Friday in Justice of the Peace Deborah Lippis' courtroom.

grounded and caught up on
my sleep.It always takes
a few weeks to get back
into the swing of not
touring.funny thing is,we
leave for the Japanese
tour on weds.The Japanese
tour sold out on the 1ST
day.The promoters really
under estimated the band
this last year..its seems
people wanna think rock n
roll isn't what it used
to be.the thing is, there
right.it used to be alot
weaker...its gaining
muscle.i dont mind, cause
a funny thing happens
when people cant get
tickets.....They freak
out....
Our live album has 21
songs on it.. And alot of
old stuff.i really like
it.What i dig about our
*live** album is there
are minimal fix ups.alot
of live albums ((ala kiss
and metallica)) the only
thing live is the
crowd..Hahahaha..
Damn,i dont know about
you,but if im gonna get a
live album i want it more
like a bootleg. i think
the thing about live is
not always how perfect it
is, but how imperfect it
is. there is a magic
moment live..its either
there or not.ya,we have
to fix a few things up

Got here from Tokyo yesterday at about 5
pm.went straight to a rehearsal studio.we just
ran over a few songs and learned some different
motley tunes.were playing two, three an four
nights in some cities.the Japanese fans go to all
the shows in the same town.we'll change the set
around everynight and play different tunes.no
real stretch.maybe 10 seconds to love, on with
the show, bastard, piece of your action and too
fast for love.... We have some new tunes
done...we might play one or two as well.but we
will see...there not all that tight yet...but they
fuckin rip...cant wait for reh to start.... Oh as
for the leno show on turkey day, it's being
moved..Jay doesn't want music that that.so it
will either be the day before or after.ill let you

JAPAN
Today we traveled from Sendai back here to the CITY OF
THE VAMPIRES for our day off. i went down to some of
the shops that carry **OUTLAW** and hung around and checked out some of the stores.
In the morning me an mike go to meet with our distributor
over here to see the new samples of our clothing designs
((cut an sew as well as new print stuff))
By spring we will have enough content that they want to
open an **OUTLAW** store here in tokyo.it was so cool
to walk into stores in Osaka and Sendai an see our stuff
selling.it feels to me like when motley started an it was just
growing alittle everyday.it has that same buzz but its me
and donna an mike instead of the guys.it's a real
rush…the**OUTLAW** website will be rocking real
soon….i know the one we have now sux.... Sorry to
anybody who hasn't got their stuff yet…were changing
some biz issues around to make things flow better…the
sight sux and it looks lame..but the new one will kick ass...
Can't wait for you to see the new stuff….

Donna went home two days ago an im missing her real
bad.damn that girl is amazing.i hope everybody has a
chance to meet there true soulmate in life.its such a

the street.im having it fed-exed home in the mornin.it
reminded mike of my paintings a little bit.very dark and
message driven.
This piece looks like something painted on the walls of the
house of blues..And to think it came from some lil corner
in a small town in Japan and now will hang in our home is
kinda cool…
I meet up with masaki (my Japanese friend) and he hung
out with us today…weve been friend for about five
years..he used to wait outside the hotel for hours...today i
meet his girlfriend.... there a great couple..me and mike an
hawk took them out to dinner.he gave me a book on
Japanese tattooes.so ill kick back read it until I fall off into
lala land.

Hiroshima Japan
Sometimes I sit in my room (like tonight) an ache.There is no
crowd, there is no noise, there is just silence. I ache for my
wife, for my children, for my dogs, for my own four walls, for
my life. As I look out over the city lights of Hiroshima
everybody seems so far away.I know back home donna and
the children are tucked into bed, warm and safe.This is a
lonely life,just when I feel like I'm about to explode the phone
rings..It rings so quite I think it must be in another room. But I
turn my head anyway just in time to see the light blinking on
the phone. I run to it and hear an old friends voice.Its Mr. udo
(our Japanese promoter for every tour but this one). A huge
warm feeling floats over my body an I smile.
Hello nikki-san.how are you my friend? He says
I tell him ive been trying to get ahold of him to say hello or
maybe have dinner...he chuckles an says,
I know..I could feel it.
He is 68 years old an is one of the sweetest men I have ever
meet.
In 85 he talked to me about life,he got me out of jail in 87,and
I took him to Hong Kong that same year. We spent the day
together in 89 and he's invited me to his home.We've talked
for hours about life an death...he has been a true friend. The
money didn't work out this tour so we went to the other
promoter,but that isn't really important he says..our friendship
is what's important.we talked about family and old times and i
made him laugh that old Japanese laugh that makes me crack
up everytime.We promised to see eachother soon and each
hung up..now im looking out over the lights of hiroshima
again..alone again.....waiting to do what it is i do...

So it's done. We started Oct 15
or so in 1998 an now about a
year later we've reached our
goals.I look around an see
fatigue setting in when ever
people sit down.When you
sleep you cant wake up an
when your awake you feel like
you need to fall back
asleep.You get up just long
enough to drain what ever
recharge you've gained through
out the day.I found myself
going insane for awhile.I
started drinking again out here
on the road.I'm back on the
wagon, but that disease creeps
around in the back of my head
at all times.6 years sober an
boom….it knocked me to my
feet.Its not a new movie for
me.I drink,my life falls apart.I
guess the stress of a year on the
road an some of the heart ache
ive encountered pushed me to
believe it would lighten the
load.it didn't..It made things
worse.(but its all good
again now))… thank god for
Donna… AND HER
STRENGTH
We've canceled the new years
eve show due to two
things.ONE the band wants to
keep working on the new
album and TWO…were fuckin
burnt.
We go home in the a.m.to L.A.

Good news; Wherever Laidlaw is getting added to radio there
getting amazing phones( that the way it starts)…I always believed they were a peoples band. Slow but sure…….

Guns n roses puts out there live album the same day as us…its
also a double album..
But, ours is priced as a single record…not a double…
that's the difference in having motley records/beyond and
being on a major.

Seattle to N.Y.
I meet with some highly creative people today.I'm usually very verbal but the jetlag
has the best of me, so i wasn't my usual high energy self.That might be a blessing.I
did alot of listening, and that's when you can really read people.
Were coloring outside the lines with some of our concepts an beliefs with
beyond/motley/americoma. This isn't a new realization, but there are those who
want to play,and those who dont know how to play.today i meet some groups of
people who dont believe in losing.

Been off the road for a few weeks and I haven't really taken a day off yet. Too
many things bumpin and grindin in my mind.
The AMERICOMA website is up.Its pretty barebones right now,but we wanted it up so people could at least check out some of the music.Im starting a radio station** americoma radio** on the site soon.Also an A&R section where fans can vote for music as well as the record label. Motley crue reh start in 10 days. Then were demoing all the songs.In Jan we reh more and demo some more....Hope to start the album in Feb 100,000 people a week are hitting the AMERICOMA website.thank you and thanks for calling radio about laidlaw.its picking up speed....

The years just seem to roll by don't they?
The positive side of time is
if your pushing and shoving
through life, if your focused
on your goals, time will show you
how far you've come. Of course, the
negative side is it can point
out how far you haven't.
The change of season is coming
on strong (yes, even in La.).
The leaves are turning reddish
orange and falling to ground.We
live on a ranch hidden from the
world,as you drive down our one

towards our home
it seems like time is slowing
down for a moment for us.
Days like this let you glance
back.but, it also let you
wonder about the future.
This an exciting time for us all.
Technology is racing at top speed.
I can't embrace it enough. How
could we of survived without
the tools that available to us before this time?

I have insight and information
that most of you wouldn't believe
and I can safely say** hang on to
your seat belts** cause its gonna

being developed right before your eyes

Now back to old school.
Friday night **laidlaw** played
in hollywierd. The boys cooked as
usual and it was great to see
so many industry people out and
talkin about real musicans again
etc etc. There going on touring
with jackyl in a few weeks and
then there is some nugent dates
coming up too.Its refreshing to
see where there being played at
radio that there getting amazing
phone response from there new fans.
Im happy for the guys,but what a
bonehead time to release a record
by a new artist((( they got there way
in that argument))…so I look forward
to Jan ..Feb to really pull
the trigger for the record.
There the type of band that needs to
be out playing live in every city
in every bar,so thats a big focus
right now...and of course..
we all love the internet.
Week 1 of the crue reh are done.
Monday we couldnt reh cause the
crew was setting up.Friday we
couldn't reh cause of press
and conflicts,so we had three days……but
we walked out with a song a day.ive
been in motley crue through every
fuckin up and down and I have
to tell you…this is the best music
weve ever made…it's that raw and
in your face motley mixed with crue
style lyric an melody.we get 3 more
reh then we go demo this batch of
songs.i think ill burn one of them
to a mp3 an sneak it out on the web.

One more day off. I haven't had

This last week was kinda Nutty. We released the
Motley crue live album, I was working at americoma
From 9 am 'til 2 p.m., Motley was rehearsing from
3pm 'til 9 p.m., then When I got home I
Would write lyrics and spent Time with Donna.
Then get up at 6 am with The kids an start again.
Sooooo,sleep(and sex) has been my friend this long weekend.
Last week when laidlaw played here In L.A.,i hung out
with john corabi For a few hours.It was great to see him.
Im so glad all the bad vibes (LAWYERS) are gone.I'd like to
do something with john again

Randy castillo is such a pleasure To work with. He has such a
Balance about him. Hes a great drummer *As you all know*,but to
Hear him do randy on the new songs, Instead of playing someone else's
Chops,is exciting too. I know it is for him. He's all smiles. He has Alot of great ideas
and he just fits perfect into the family. We chose too not really promote the *live* Album too hard. This album Is for the fans.the ones Who asked for it.Right now
The last thing we should Do is try an shove something Down anyone's throat.
We've set the past up. weve toured it, Re-released it, and talked about it to death.

I woke up 630 Am. I guess my body clock is set to that time. I could have
really used the sleep today. Fatigue is nipping at my heals cause im burning the candle at both ends, but that's how you win big. motleys only has one more week in the studio....then things will slow down for the holidays. This will be our(donna ,myself and the kids) first year in our new home for x mas, were really excited about it.it seems
like I was gone on tour forever. it gets harder to stay away when you have something to live for. You know,life is like that.The things you could of never imagined loving or craving you will someday embrace. I will post a URL to the (americoma e-a&r) where unsigned bands Can send their music an photos to. We will put the music and photos
up on the site for fans, managers, agents, producers and record companies to view. We (americoma) will vote on the music as well as the fans.im about this. i hope to see some new music get into the bloodstream through our medium. It doesnt matter if its on our label or not…..as long as we can give new bands and artists a place to be dicovered..then were helping to plant the seeds of the future. Ive been listening to

September 1999, after a Houston show.
Great show in Houston tonight. Solid 15.000.
Thats what makes me sad about Tommy. He was one of us, and about five years ago he seemed to of pulled away from the family. Something in him got detached. He just wasnt Tommy anymore..he seemed angry and unhappy alot, but still we tried to be there for him as friends and a band. But we couldnt make thru. With all those years how could he just walk away without even a goodbye?? not even a phone call. How can you do that?? C'mon hes my friend..but deep side I wonder..Ive defended him for years..it seems so many fans just hate him..god, the banners in Dallas were awful...some really nasty stuff...calling him and pam the "king and queen of cheese wiz"...thats so fucking cold. All I know is I dont know what to say anymore. I havent heard from him, I guess I never will.. - Maybe I shouldnt try a figure this anymore...maybe I shouldnt be so sad about it...Maybe My Hearts To Big...
